B. Prasanalakshmi is a teaching faculty in the College of Computer Science, King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia. She was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Data Science Laboratory at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She received a Ph.D. at the Research & Development Center, Bharathiar University, India. Prasanalakshmi is broadly interested in Neural Networks for Medical Imaging, Deep learning, Machine learning, Data Science, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Her industrial research affiliations include being a research member of the Center for Artificial Intelligence at King Khalid University and the Cancer Immunology Project at USERN. She is a founder of the Medical Imaging Research Lab at SCRA, India.
She achieved Globally Recognized Professional Certifications from various IT Giants.
Published 50+ research articles in various International Referred Journals (SCIE/SCOPUS) with decent Impact Factor, published International Conferences indexed in Springer, IEEEXplore, ACM, and Book Chapters. Published 4 Authored Books in Computer Science.
Acting as a Technical Program, Organizing, Advisory, and Review Committee Member for 50+ National and International Conferences worldwide.
17+ Years of Teaching and Research Experience in multiple Institutions with King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. Currently working in the Department of Computer Science, College of Computer Science, King Khalid University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Intellectual Property Rights: Indian, South African, Australian and German Patents.
She also acted as Session Chair and Session Co-Chair in National and International Conferences and five Faculty Development Programs as a Keynote Speaker.
In addition, has professional membership in five Research Organizations in the grade of Life/Associate. Six Awards for Teaching, Research, Innovation, and Scientist Activities. Won first position cash award for research and innovation from the Deanship of Quality Affairs, King Khalid University. KSA.
