Dr. Mohammed Khursheed Akhtar has more than 30 years’ experience in the field
of Teaching, Research, Consulting and IT Business Development. He has 2 PhDs,
one from Atlantic International University, Hawaii, USA in 2004-2007 in
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and another from Singhania University
Rajasthan, India in 2011-2015 in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). He has
Master Degree in Applied Mathematics with Honors. He has diploma in Islamic
Finance and Insurance.
Dr. Akhtar is currently working as a Senior Strategic Advisor/Data Scientist at
Research and Studies Unit of Strategic Center to Kingdom Vision Realization of
King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under Kingdom
Vision 2030.

He worked as a Data Scientist at KAU Web Observatory for Web Studies from
2017 to 2019; as a Research Fellow at Strategic Department of KAU from 2013
to 2107; as a Deputy Project Manager at KAU-ERP Implementation Project from
2011 to 2012; as a Faculty Member from 2008 to 2011 at Faculty of Commuting
and Information Technology and as a GIS Head at Projects and Proposal
Department from 2005 to 2008, and Data Based Specialist from 1990 to 2005 in
King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
